Today was Gracie’s first day back to school and 6:40 felt a WHOLE lot earlier than it did just a month ago. The Christmas break was entirely too long in my opinion. I’m sure teachers feel differently. Gracie was crying when I dropped her off. She was so sleepy and sad, despite my best efforts to get her to bed extra early the past couple nights and to be extra cheerful this morning. She will be fine, but it will take a couple days to get back into a routine. I felt so sorry for her…

The girls in their Naartjie fairy dresses I ordered them for Christmas…they twirl so wonderfully! The fabric is VERY light but we’ve had such mild weather the past few days (70’s anyone?) we got to wear them early! (Gracie’s does NOT have a bear on it, that’s the sticker they give out at Baby Gap. She gets one every time we go.)
