I think I’m done with all my Christmas shopping. We didn’t do a lot this year and that makes it easy. I still think we have too much for the girls but Amazon had some amazing sales and at the last minute I ordered some things…I’m bad. The packages are supposed to arrive a day before Christmas. Ooooh, I am cutting it close!
Yesterday I put the girls in their matching pink Naartjie dresses and beanies and we went grocery shopping. I kid you not, the woman at the checkstand asked me “are they twins?” WHAAAAT? I said, “oh I like to dress them alike” because I thought she meant like not literally twins…and she proceeded to ask me how old they were. When I said “they’re 4 1/2 and 1 1/2, three years apart” she looked all confused. Um, yes, I had a very hard labor. Three years of pushing but we finally got the little one out. People are seriously strange.
Welp, speaking of strange, Trinity just laid her string cheese across my chest. I guess that means she’s done with it. Ew.
Maybe I’ll post pictures of the girls later. If I get a chance to get back on… See ya!

Thankfully this pregnancy, no one has come up and touched me or made rude comments… well except for the lady who said “you’re doing so well on your weight!” and at THAT point, I was tippin’ the scales at 50 lb gainage. I still want to smack her in my head.
i wish you would have said that statement to her… what I wouldn’t give to see the look on her face… he he he….:)

Of course I get the “Are they twins?” questions all the time. Though they are usually referring to Joshua and Mary! Yes, they are only 16 months apart and Joshua is pretty small for his age( less than 3 percentile in height and weight). The girls do look completely different. I do also get the occasional “Are they triplets?”! Sometimes it feels like it! Joshua is not in any hurry to potty train so I expect to do all 3 of them at the same time!
We loved your Christmas card! We have ours, I am just waiting to address them until our drive to California. We leave tomorrow! 19 hours, 2 days, a van, and 4 kids! Yes, I am panicing!
Hope you have a great Christmas!
