Not my kids, my babies! Ever since I started at the Mother’s Day Out, my co-teacher, Katie, I decided our room should be the best room, the coveted room…the room everyone says, “Ohhhh, your child is in Katie and Kari’s room? They are the best!”
So far, we’ve managed to have every kid who has come through not only like us, but love coming every Wednesday and Friday. This makes for happy children, and very happy parents. It’s just good all around. Anyhow, I’ve been teaching the babies to sign, since both my girls do and it’s so easy. Today after lunch, I asked “all done?” and every one of them signed “all done” back to me! Success! They’re soooo smart. Most of them sign some words occasionally, but they’ve never done it all at once like that. Katie and I just looked at eachother completely amazed.Yay for our babies!!
Now for my own babies, Trinity’s saying lots of words now. Mainly socks, shoes, yay, room, poop and juice. The important stuff, you know! She’s in 18-24 month clothes now and some 2Ts if they’re small. Today she wore a 2T yoga set from Gymboree. Awwwww. my baby is most definitely not a baby!
Holland visited last weekend and Gracie was ecstatic. She has lots of friends at school, she’s such a little extrovert. Mommy’s little mini me! I love how she socializes so well She has a lot of confidence and people generally just like her. That’s a good start! Maybe one day she will be president! LOL
According to my oncologist, my Christmas present is that I will have more energy again. I don’t know if it’s because I work myself too hard or if my poor body just can’t recuperate as fast as expected, but Christmas is around the corner and I don’t feel any different. I just hate cancer. I don’t have cancer, so why do I still have to feel like I do??
I apologize for the gratuitious use of italics in this post. =)
