Chris has Thursdays off, so it was a great day for a CT scan (if there is such a thing!)  I get so sick drinking that bottle of contrast, so today the nurse gave me a “shooter” of contrast and I chased it with a full glass of water.  Much, much better.  I still had to have the dye injected in my chemo port when I had my scan.  I can feel it big time–when it’s going through my body it feels like fire.  I feel like I have to pee really bad and I get dizzy and nauseas.  It takes about 5 minutes for it to wear off, but it feels like an eternity.  On the table, I prayed “Oh God, please just let the scan show that I’m still cancer free, please.  I don’t want to go through it again”  I started to cry a little.  I don’t want to have a recurrance, which is my biggest fear.  I’m sure lots of cancer patients feel like that.

The girls spent time with Daddy and he took them out for donuts.  He’s so good with them, and they really love one on one time with him.  When I came home, Gracie and Chris were playing Memory while Trinity napped.  We had lunch at the tea room with Ma, and now they’re both napping.

Tuesday I spoke at OSU-OKC for the annual Think Pink Tea.  It was great experience.  I got to see a dear friend and I had the chance to talk with women about my experience.  I enjoy doing those types of things.

Now I’m gearing up for the Race for the Cure on Saturday.  I really don’t know what to expect, except a ton of people and probably a lot of overwhelming emotions.  Chris got off work for it, but his boss actually put in leave requests for his whole sales team to take off and walk with us!  What incredible support from Dell!  That is HUGE!  So I guess I’ll be meeting some of Chris’ coworkers on Saturday.

That’s all.  I have to finish the laundry.  It’s all clean, but the laundry fairy is apparently ignoring me so I guess I need to put it all up by myself!
