Okay, it’s totally weird to go to the mall and have people coming up to you telling you they saw you on the news/saw you in People/are running in the Komen race…I was a bit freaked out. The girls in Baby Gap literally dropped everything to come talk to me, and said that one of the girls from Baby Gap at the other mall had given them the magazine, and they all just couldn’t believe it! The girl at Gymboree said she saw us too. People came up and said they were training for the race. It is surreal. A lot of them come up and say “did I read about you…in…People?” kind of reluctant, like it would be really embarrassing if they were wrong. Hahaha! I don’t blame them! I don’t relish the attention, but I do really feel like I’m making a difference.
Next week is the big Pre-K hoedown and the kids are going to dress like farmers. Gracie is especially excited. Mrs Cox said if the weather is nice, they’ll be doing all their work and activities outside. So pray for sunshine on Wednesday.
Trinity won’t keep a bow in her hair to save her life. But she will wear hats, which is lucky for me, because I found this one, that I adore. Oh yes, my pumpkin-head child will be wearing this to the pumpkin patch!
Gracie, posing–you wouldn’t expect otherwise, now, would you?
