Sorry ya’ll, we’ve been crazy busy over here and I haven’t had much time for internet play lately.  Gracie is in the swing of school every day and LOVES it.  Chris’ schedule changes yet AGAIN this next week, and he will have a more 8-5 shift, which is nice because he will be home for dinner.  Trinity’s language is hilarious, she says UP all the time when she wants on something or up from the table or bed.  She also is starting to say more words but I can’t understand her–Gracie usually translates.

I’ve also started training for my new ministry at the Mother’s Day Out.  I realized the first day of training that I was looking at it all wrong to think of it only as a job.  It truly will be an exciting change for me and a ministry opportunity that I have been really craving.  I feel so useless when I’m not “doing something” like this…so yay God, for the opportunity.

I took this pic of the girls last week.

And some of Trinity in her new back-to-baby-school (baby school=Mother’s Day Out) duds–ignore the toothbrush, it’s her newest obsession:

It’s Yo Gabba Gabba, a new kids show on Nick Jr.  I can’t tell if it’s pure genius or complete retardation.  Trinity thinks it’s awesome. Turn up the sound.  The lyrics to this musical treasure are quite remarkable.  “So yummy, so yummy, there’s a party in my tummy!  Oh yeah, oh yeah!  There’s a party in my tummy!”

But hey, if it gets me 30 minutes to shower or actually pee without an audience…I’ll take it.

Here’s another funny video of the girls.  Gracie has become very germ conscious and with that, Trinity has become very willing to share her pacifier.

An update on me?  Well, I’m starting to have hair!

I’ve been preparing all week for the big baby/childrens consignment sale at the fairgrounds.  I consigned a TON of baby equipment and the girls outgrown clothes.  The best part of consigning?  I got to shop the pre-sale tonight with other consigners.  Trinity got some cute things, including Keedo and Naartjie pants sets, a couple boutique brand dresses, and a Hanna Andersson sleeper–some hair bows, and some brown suede baby Gap boots, all for $50!  I was excited.

I’m sick of this hot weather.  Let’s get Fall going so I can bust out all these cute new clothes!

Gracie loves school.  She makes new friends every day, but doesn’t know any of their names.  LOL

I’m keeping a little guy named Luke on Tuesday mornings.  He’s in the nursery at church with Trinity, and the two of them have so much fun together.  Gracie calls them “the Little Ones” hahahaha~!  Cause she’s so big, dontcha know!

I made payment arrangements for my cancer treatments today.  Wow, that’s overwhelming.  One day at a time…

Pictures will be coming soon.

Gracie woke up at 6:30 and was all smiles.  Here she is, ready to go!

Is this my class?

Picking out nametags. “My name is Gracie, with a G” she told her teacher.

“Bye mom.  I have to go read now.”

And that was that.  She went in without any issues and here I am, still in disbelief that my baby is in elementary school.  This will be a great year for her.  We’re thrilled that she’s at such a fantastic school and I’ve only heard wonderful things about her teacher.  Yay!

We’re hitting BIG milestones around here.  Trinity had her first twinkie!  I know, they’re soooo bad for the girls but we haven’t had sweets in our house FOREVER and I caved the other day when Gracie begged me…plus I thought it would be fun to get Trinity to eat one.  Of course, she needed a bath afterward, but is was soooo worth it.

Trinity calls me “Baby.” I’m her baby.  It’s the cutest thing ever.

Gracie was so excited for “meet your teacher” day today.  She cried when we had to leave.  I told her tomorrow, she will get to stay and play.  She’s pumped.  She could not stop talking about how great school is!  We were only there for about half an hour.

Here she is before we left:

And with her new teacher:

You’ll LOVE this, it’s short (as my videos always are) but hilarious and kinda gross.  Enjoy!

ETA; Yes, Julie there IS chocolate in that twinkie, because I bought both kinds, the cupcakes and twinkies and Gracie wanted the chocolate kind, but then gave some to sister.  So in all actuality, she had both LOL
