Turn up the sound to hear how happy she is with herself!
She did it! Lucky that we got her very first steps ever on video, I just happened to have the camera in my hands and just clicked it over to video mode. She decided that was about it on the walking, though, we see some practice walking every now and then but she still prefers to crawl. Haha, I just watched the video again–excuse the tornado-blew-my-living-room-to-pieces decor and the fact that my child is wearing a bow, yet no pants. That’s just how we roll.
And Gracie has decided that she wants to wear this for her first day of school:
Which is all well and good, except every place I know of is sold out in a size 5. This is the same dress, mind you, that I asked Gracie about three thousand times if she was sure she didn’t want it, because it just looks like something she would wear. She said no, no, no–all through Spring and into Summer. Then yesterday she says, “you know that butterfly dress you didn’t buy me? Well, I want to wear it to school to meet my new friends” Sigh. Of course you do. Let the scrambling begin!
