I’m boarding a plane in a few hours for my trip and I’m soooo excited! I’m just going to miss the girls so much! I hope Tiny’s okay. Gracie will be fine, she understands that I will be back, but poor Trinity’s going to think I’ve left her forever! I know Chris will take good care of them though. I will miss him too.
Some of you might remember when I was going through some of my cancer treatments, I met a woman my age with a daughter Gracie’s age who was about 6 months ahead of me in her breast cancer treamtents. She recently finished her reconstruction. She was just diagnosed with ovarian cancer. One of the side effects of the prescription we both take is a higher risk of ovarian cancer, but it’s supposed to keep the breast tissue clear of recurring breast cancer. Sigh. This scares me on so many levels. Damned if I do and damned if I don’t. I really don’t want to keep taking it, especially now. And I really don’t want Jeana to have to go through more chemo. Please pray.
