I am desperately trying to get the house clean so that when I leave this weekend, Chris won’t be overwhelmed. I rearranged Trinity’s room because the way it was, she learned that she could flip on her lightswitch. The problem is, that while that is cute and all, she would wake up in the middle of the night because she’d still have her light on! Oh–also Trinity kissed her boyfriend Coen last night in the nursery. Sooooo adorable. She loves kissing! I can’t help but giggle at that cute pucker. She’s so funny.
Gracie’s at drama camp this week. She’s making friends and learning how to “perform.” They have a show this Friday and I can’t wait. Pics are coming.
Starting Sunday, I will be gone for FOUR days, so pray for Chris! He’s never had both girls by himself for more than a few hours and they can be overwhelming. Me and my sister are flying out to see my brother in Colorado and then we’ll be road tripping it back with him. He’s finally out of the Army and is moving back home. I plan on going shopping, seeing relatives, and just relaxing for a few days. Can’t wait!!
I’m feeling great, getting back into the swing of being a healthy mommy and learning how to adjust to life without being a cancer patient. It’s nice. I’ve been waking up every morning and walking/jogging, which has been a huge help. I was never a runner, so this is new to me. But I’m really liking the feeling I get after I’ve run. And I love the fact that I’m pushing myself to my limits again. I guess this is one of the reasons why I didn’t really mind having cancer–I’ve always been one to push limits, just to see how far I could go. Beating cancer was an accomplishment. That’s why my favorite Eleanor Roosevelt quote is: “You must do the thing you cannot do.” I never could run. So I’m running.
Oh yes, and we got a scanner! After FOREVER without one. So we’ve been scanning all our old photos! Lookey lookey!

I’m glad your feeling better, and glad you get a chance to chill out for a bit! Try not to worry about Chris and the girls! They’ll be fine!

I hope you have the most awesome four days with your siblings!!!! Sounds like just what you need! If I was close enough I’d offer him my help, but I’m sure all will work out and Chris will do fine with the girls!
Gracie will be more of a help for him probably than you can imagine!
