Trinity has goopey eye. Not pink eye, just a bunch of goop. Gross. And all under her eyes, dark circles. Poor baby! She doesn’t act sick, but the Dr. said to give her eye drops twice a day until it clears up. I hope it clears up before Friday, because there’s nothing worse than knowing your kid’s too sick to go to Mother’s Day Out. Let’s face it moms, we all love our little mini-me’s, but MDO is the most important day of the week.
Radiation is going okay. The girls are really nice and they like me. They say it’s good to see someone smile. I’ve made friends with the waiting room full of people who all come every day at the same time to receive their treatments as well. All of them are old. They seem sad, but once I start talking to them they seem to be happier. So maybe that’s why I had to go through rads…I dunno.
And speaking of rads, in case you’re wondering how to pray, just pray I don’t get burned at ALL…I found some scriptures that I think are very applicable. Here’s one I really cling to right now:
Isaiah 43:1-3 and 7
But now, this is what the Lord says– he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; …everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.”
