No that’s not a typo in the title, that’s just me being a dork. My oncologist called me today, and said my CT scan results came back. The spot on my liver hasn’t changed, so he said that’s a good sign, if it were cancer it would have shrunk with the chemo. Also, there was a spot on my spleen this time around, but again he wasn’t worried since it’s “highly unusual” that breast cancer would spread to the spleen. So…okay. Good news? I suppose. I mean, it’s better than telling me I have more cancer, but it wasn’t as reassuring as I’d like, considering I have “spots” on those two (vital) organs. I just wish it came back completely clear. That would have been ideal.
Trinity has had a snotty nose for a few days, probably from teething. She’s been so cranky and wants to just sleep all the time. Poor baby. Last night she threw up in her bed repeatedly until we finally ran out of clean crib sheets and jammies. I have a ton of laundry to do today. Blah. She finally fell asleep on me and I (kinda) slept with her in the recliner until 3:15 this morning.
Trinity’s in a forward-facing seat now! Not only was she ready (her feet were all scrunched up when she was rear facing!) but now she can actually see the DVD player without having to strain her neck, which she is very excited about. Don’t think we did it just for that, she really is ready. The doctor gave us the go-ahead last week when she was weighed! Look how happy she is!!
Alright, back to housework. And the mountain of puke-laundry…
