Holland and Savannah came to play last night and Gracie had a blast. They played outside, then inside, then colored, then went back outside…then back inside…then back outside…
After a gourmet mac and cheese, yogurt-on-the-side dinner, the girls wanted more gum. Sure! We were cleaning up the toys and Little Miss Holland runs out of Gracie’s room yelling, “Help me!” with an entire wad of Bubblicious in her hair. Fantastic!. So I freak her out even more by grabbing the only thing I *think* will work–peanut butter. When her parents arrive, we are standing in the living room, rubbing peanut butter on her sweet head while Savannah looks on, a bit dismayed. Gracie kept saying, “well, now she has gum AND peanut butter in her hair, Mommy!” The good news is it worked. The bad news, Holland may develop an aversion to peanut butter.
Here’s a slide show of the pictures from last night. Gracie helped me.

EDIT: Sad, but I have to tell you…Taylor (the other premature twin) passed away this afternoon. She was only one pound, but she weighed three pounds because of the fluid. Her little kidneys weren’t working and she was very fragile. Please, please pray for the family and for the girls’ parents, Todd and Laura. Both babies are in heaven now, and I can’t imagine how difficult that has to be for them. Thanks for your prayers!
