One really great thing about Chris working at Teleflora: I got 2 dozen roses for Valentines Day! And we gave a dozen to each of our moms! It was nice. I love having fresh flowers in the house, that’s something I could get used to. Especially roses. Smells soooo good in here today!
Chris is taking the day off tomorrow since today is CRAZY busy today…all those last minute people who forgot to place orders until just now. So he will be taking me to my first chemo appointment for this round. Gosh, I hate to have to do this again. But only 4 more treatments and I’ll never have to do chemo again, thank God.
Gracie wants to go to Chuck E Cheese for her family birthday dinner. Well, she’s the birthday girl. So you’ll be seeing those pictures soon.
You guys know little Miss Gracie is notorious for her “interesting” prayers. Well, here’s a new one for you. We dropped off Chris today at work and I told her we need to pray for Daddy. She wanted to do it, so I let her. Usually they’re entertaining at the least, and I know that God has to just smile so big when He hears her say what’s on her little 4 year old heart. ”Lord, please help Daddy to have fun with his friends, and play, and be handsome and do everything he wants to do. Please help him to obey his teachers and eat a good lunch.” *Pauses to look up at the sky* “Pfffffffttttt….Oh, and God? That farting noise was part of my prayer. Amen.”
Well, the Bible does say to make a joyful noise to the Lord. And if that’s joyful to her…who am I to say otherwise? That child…what am I going to do with her???
Here’s a little Valentines Day slide show. Enjoy:
